about phosphene
Phosphene offers a curated edit of slow fashion clothing, accessories, and home goods.
Our purpose is to encourage thoughtful, intentional buying practices (also known as conscious consumerism) and to be a resource for our community to connect with responsibly made goods from independent designers around the world.
Phosphene operates a brick and mortar shop located in historic Fredericksburg, Virginia (one hour south of DC, one hour north of Richmond) alongside its e-commerce business. The brick and mortar space is also used for workshops, events and as a creative studio for content creation. The business was founded in 2019.
OUR BRAND PARTNERS
Brands are carefully vetted for transparency around their production practices and sustainability values to ensure their alignment with Phosphene.
We take pride in the friendships and relationships we’ve developed over the years and in telling their brand stories to our community.
