Beatrice - Hueso
Made in Spain, the Beatrice is a glove-like everyday pump in off-white leather. Crafted from unlined, buttery-soft Italian leather, it naturally shapes to the foot for a comfortable fit. The Beatrice features a modern square toe and mini 1" leather-covered heel, and is finished with a padded leather footbed for lasting comfort.
Runs slightly roomy, if you're in between sizes we recommend choosing the smaller size.
LoQ is derived from the surnames of Keren Longkumer and Valerie Quant. After meeting while studying footwear design, the pair sought to create a line of timeless classics in modern articulations. With a mutual affinity for minimal yet unconventional proportions, shapes, and colors — LoQ was formed in 2015. Handcrafted in the south of Spain, the shoes are made with quality materials and techniques of a time-honored tradition. This artisanal work in leather was their first venture into upholding slow craft, in a fast-paced and changing design sphere.
Designing from Los Angeles and India — the co-founders are influenced by their contrasting locales — an intimate creative process connected to place and culture. Calling three parts of the world home, LoQ has nurtured their collaborative eye, and appreciation for distinctive spaces. In 2020, the designers further coalesced their unique environments to create LoQ Objects — a curation of home goods which share their original footwear sensibilities; LoQ is artful ease, an architectural refinement, and reverence of traditional craft with origins around the globe. Always evolving, Keren and Valerie look forward to next steps in expanding their aesthetic language — thoughtfully transportive, at home and on foot.
