About Zii Ropa

Born in the desert of Baja California Sur and based in Mexico City, Zii Ropa marries the concept of coastal and city living by creating timeless, modern and functional silhouettes using natural fiber fabrics.

Originally a Vancouver native, Bridget Tidey started Zii Ropa in 2015 in the Roma Norte neighborhood of Mexico City. Inspired by her travels and years of living in Baja California Sur, Mexico, Bridget’s focus was to develop a design studio based on the principles of longevity, art, and balance. With atemporal designs and a classics collection, Zii Ropa looks at dressing in a utilitarian way. The design process is fabric focused using the finest of natural fabrics and each silhouette is cut with functionality and tailored with a feminine finish. Inspired by the muted landscapes and textures of Mexico, Bridget designs for the woman that works, travels, and seeks freedom in her expression when she moves from one world to another. Just as Bridget splits her time between a small town and a big city – Zii Ropa is defined by the juxtaposition of this lifestyle.
